New ERP System for Aviation Maintenance Goes Live at Japan Airlines
Japan Airlines International (Shinagawa, TYO: JAL) officially launched JAL Mighty, a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for aviation maintenance, this November. IBM Japan (NYSE: IBM), IBM Business Consulting Services (Chiyoda, TYO: IBCS), and SAP Japan Co., Ltd (Chiyoda, TYO: SAP Japan) collaborated on the project to create a system to manage maintenance planning, quality control and parts inventory for approximately 160 aircraft, 460 engines, and 500,000 parts. IBM Announces Provisional Results of Tender Offers for ILOG
ARMO IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced that the French Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) published the provisional results of IBM's tender offers in France and the United States for ILOG (NASDAQ: ILOG) (PARIS: ILO).
