It generally includes environmental controls (air conditioning, fire suppression, etc.), redundant/backup power supplies, redundant data communications . On a  data center can be hosted several power servers running web hosting applications sutch as cpanel. There can be hosted several dedicated servers for companies or web hosting providers using redundant power generators.
